Hot Gin Punch Cocktail Recipe
  • 150ml/ 3 parts Beefeater Gin
  • 150ml/ 3 parts port wine
  • 300ml/ 6 parts pear juice
  • 50ml/ 1 part lemon juice
  • 3 cloves
  • A pinch nutmeg (grated)
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (powder)
  • 4 teaspoons of sugar (brown)
  • 2 pears (thinly sliced)
  • 6 large lemon and orange twists
Hot Gin Punch Cocktail Recipe

 

 

 

 

 

Mix all the ingredients in saucepan and place on the heat. Let the mixture simmer without boiling for a few minutes. Add honey and lemon to taste.

A great drink to share at winter parties. Add your own twist by adding ingredients and spices you have in your kitchen.

Inspired by the elaborate punches once enjoyed at social gatherings during the Victorian era.
